Warning message regarding Security Lock file for versions 6.1 and 6.1m1

When starting Test for I-deas 6.1 or 6.1m1, a warning message regarding the ‘Security Lock file’ may occur. There was a problem with the TFI 6.1 Update installer in that it did not correctly date this file when it was initially installed and the expiration date was automatically set to 1 March, 2011.

The fix for  this is very easy;  place the new run_lock.txt file in your %SDRC_INSTL%\tda\sec directory, overwriting the existing version.  (By default the location will be C:\Siemens\NXI61\tda\sec).  A restart of I-deas after doing this will clear the message.
